Alka Construction began building their first homes in the South Carolina Lowcountry in the late 1990s. For over two decades, Alka has earned an excellent reputation for building high-quality, uniquely-designed custom homes. Alka is known for luxury features and finishes and homes that are designed and built to withstand the test of time.

From the beaches to historic downtown Charleston, Alka's homes have enhanced and beautified streetscapes throughout the area. Alka was a premiere builder in the award-winning I'On community in Mount Pleasant, as well as the builder and developer of a 30-home modern community, Fulton Neighborhood.

Owner and founder, Branko Damjanovic, originally from Sarajevo, has combined his sleek modern aesthetic, high quality building process, attention to detail, and his engineering background, to make Alka the success it is today.  He has assembled a team of skilled subcontractors, the majority have been part of his team for over 20 years, resulting in a cohesive and smooth building experience.
